What you can expect
We process all incoming applications within three working days. You can expect to receive an initial qualified response within this timeframe. The response will be either by e-mail or telephone and will include an announcement of how we will proceed.
Sometimes we hold back applications in order to collect and compare several applications. This is communicated to the applicants concerned.
Then we invite the most interesting candidates for a video interview. As there may be several candidates with different availability, the interviews take up to 5 working days. After an interview, each candidate receives immediate feedback if we are (a) not interested, (b) not interested in the current position or (c) interested.
After making a round of video calls, we send offers to the people we are most interested in and arrange face-to-face meetings for negotiations. If there are multiple equally qualified candidates, we transparently communicate this fact to all remaining candidates and set a negotiation timeframe that is communicated to everyone. We then negotiate with the preferred candidates within the specified timeframe and make a decision. All candidates are regularly updated on the status of the process and can contact us for further information. If we cannot reach an agreement with a candidate from the preferred list, we may decide to start negotiations with the remaining candidates, or we may open the process for a longer period of time.
